A Misunderstanding

April 29th, 2007 |

Dazed, dozed, dilluted
dulled, engulfed, enraged
fraught, fought, forgotten
frustration, grasp, grudge
holding, hearing, illuminated
judged, known, lost
most, many, manifold
none, neither, not
obliviated, optional, opposed
perfect, plausible, questionable
reconsidered, right, reconsidered
seen, solemn, said
told, transverse, thought
untold, up, until
very, violent, virtue
wary, well, wondering
yelled, youth, yonder
zip, zealous, zany
abrupt, abolished, appalled
brought, bought, bopped
called, creamed, chilled

Limitations

March 29th, 2007 |

Super powers, magic, unusual creatures
Imagination brightens the day
It slowly dims when the world comes
And takes that joy away

If there was a world of solely dreams
All might wish to stay
Because reality is so repetitive
We use dreams to make it pay

Books, episodes, manga, comics
Things the kids enjoy
Movies, TV, abstract images
Attract all manner of girls of boys

These things become only scarcely real
When children play with toys
Oh what the world may come against
If all men were boys

Limit, the word, from where does it come
From our past most would agree
The future, brings such subtle hope
Towards the improvement of behaviour in teens

It may become very much like
Movies or their scenes
When all of the people realize
What the word possible really means

Gravedigger’s Toll

March 15th, 2007 |

The silent fall of the creamy glaze
Travelers walk past with a static glare
Barricated under the sand
People who let their hearts sink
At this clandestine sight
As the hours start to fade
Their eyes begin to close
Their souls begin to cry
Ice cold trauma sharpens views
Last their solemn stay
Day in, day out, in silence, in doubt
The trouble thus will stay
As now the placid body lies
Details not well depicted
The coffins in which they lie
Unspoken they will remain
The memorial that is left for them
Is no longer one that can erode away
